Course Vision

Specific Measures of the "Industry Innovation Series Courses"——
Guide Students to Continually Re-examine, Think, and Revise Their Career Plans.

Students enrolled in the "Industry Innovation" series courses, guided by a team composed of industry professionals and full-time teachers, utilize business management program courses and self-learning content to actively find innovation opportunities in work, life, or study. They then design, plan, and implement these innovations, documenting the process. A "Innovation Implementation Plan" must be completed during the course period and approved by an industry mentor to receive credits.

At the end of each semester, the program organizes an "Industry Innovation Presentation," where teachers leading the industry innovation courses recommend a few students with potential to present their "Innovation Implementation Plan." Professional course teachers and industry representatives are invited to participate in the evaluation of the presentation, which helps the industry understand the students' innovation abilities while increasing practical experience through expert feedback.

All students in the program participate in the "Industry Innovation Presentation," providing different grades the opportunity to observe and interact with each other. This cultivates a supportive learning atmosphere where students can build confidence, foster community, and learn from each other's experiences. If students encounter difficulties during the course, they should report them to the course teacher or industry mentor immediately. The program will provide assistance if needed. Course teachers or industry mentors may arrange visits to assess and improve the quality of students' "Innovation Implementation Plans" each semester.

Feedback from Business Executives on Industry Innovation Course Training——
Creative Thinking "Innovation" Is the Key to Success

Yang Yan-Rong, a Business Management Program student, works as a securities dealer in a well-known securities company. After quickly passing the three-month probationary challenge, her primary responsibilities now include assisting clients with placing orders and opening accounts, as well as selling various financial products. "Given the current financial environment, being a securities dealer is no easy task!" said Manager Zhang Wen-Sheng of the securities company. A securities dealer needs to be familiar with all types of financial products, from insurance to banking. It is rare for Yan-Rong to excel in such a short time and become a competent full-time employee. From developing clients to interacting with them, Yan-Rong's work aligns closely with business management. Amid numerous financial products, she showcases the most distinctive features of each product using her business management knowledge, helping clients acquire the most suitable product and achieve impressive results.

Manager Zhang pointed out that the key to success lies in "innovation" and "the desire to earn money."

The financial industry is fiercely competitive, and the ability to think outside the box can lead salespeople to break through barriers and improve their performance. In such a competitive work environment, ambition is a necessary quality, enabling salespeople to withstand the hardships of the job. "Every colleague should see themselves as a boss." Manager Zhang advises, "As a boss, you have to think about how to market products in innovative ways."

The Business Management Program trains students to proactively improve business processes in the workplace, which has been recognized during their experience in securities work. Manager Zhang praised Yan-Rong for having good ideas and interacting with clients in new ways, which was a great thing from a manager's perspective.

"I have seen the students' ideas through their industry innovation presentations," said Manager Zhang. He believes the teaching model of Fu Jen's Business Management Program is very successful, and students' workplace performance has been outstanding. From the perspective of assessing employee abilities, he affirmed, "I highly appreciate the teaching method of Fu Jen's Business Management Program!"

Manager Zhang has extensive experience in the financial industry. He noted that students from the evening division have the advantage of combining practical experience with theoretical knowledge, making them more likely to succeed in the workplace. He hopes that educational programs like Fu Jen's Business Management will continue to carry out their excellent teaching models, with academia and industry collaborating to cultivate more outstanding talents.
