FJCU Business Management Students Win Hult Prize Campus Competition

Released on 2025/3/7

On February 26, 2025, the student team "EACH" from Fu Jen Catholic University’s (FJCU) Business Management Program emerged as the champion of the Hult Prize campus competition, demonstrating the program’s strength in innovation and problem-solving.

The Hult Prize, often referred to as the "Nobel Prize for Students", is a global social innovation and entrepreneurship competition that attracts hundreds of thousands of students each year. The competition challenges students to develop solutions addressing key issues aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This year’s winning team, "EACH", consists of You Zhe, Tsai Cheng-Kai, Sun Po-Ching (from the Business Management Program), and Su Li-Jou (from the Department of Philosophy). Their innovative proposal, "Instant Conversation Service Platform," addresses the challenges of aging populations and social isolation. By leveraging AI technology, their platform aims to break language and geographical barriers, foster social connections and mental well-being, and create new income opportunities while promoting global collaboration.

This achievement is a testament to FJCU’s commitment to integrating theory with practice, fostering innovative thinking and problem-solving skills among students. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, creativity, and dedication to social impact!

Let’s give them a big round of applause!
